Viime perjantaista sunnuntaihin olimme luokkaretkellä Tukholmassa. Siellä oli ihan kivaa. Minä ostin sieltä Changes One Bowie -levyn Äidille. Laivalta ostin karkkia, ja kun tulimme takaisin minulla oli vatsa kipeä. Tänään oli päättäjäisjuhla, ja saatiin opintokirjat. Koko päivän on satanut.

Tuesday

From last Friday to Sunday we were on a class trip to Stockholm. It was nice. I bought a Changes One Bowie LP record for Mum. I bought some candy on the cruising ship, and when we got home, I had a stomach ache. Today was the class graduation, and we got our grades. It has been raining the whole day.

Keskiviikosta lähtien olemme ajelleet Ikosten¹ Vivalla². Minä ajoin sen heti ojaan³. Tänään siitä irtosi pakoputki.

Eilen katsoin TV:stä Galactican ja Pätkiksen⁴. Piukku on jollain leirillä. Nyt kuuntelen Rock-radiota ja kirjoittelen samalla päiväkirjaa.

Friday

Since Wednesday we have been driving the Viva¹ of Ikonen family². I immediately drove it off the road³. Today the exhaust pipe dropped off.

Yesterday I watched Battlestar Galactica and Pätkis⁴ on the TV. Piukku is on a camp of some kind. Now I am listening to Rock radio while writing my diary.

1. Naapurini Iiro Ikosen vanhemmat.
2. Tuo Viva oli juuri poistettu rekisteristä ja varsin huonokuntoinen, mutta erinomainen peltoauto!
3. Ensimmäinen kerta (16-vuotiaana) auton ratissa, ja yritin tehdä 3-pistekäännöksen.
4. Pätkis oli TV:n makasiiniohjelma, joka esitti erilaisia piirrettyjä.

1. The Viva had just been decommisioned and was in a pretty bad shape, but a good car for practicing driving on the yard!
2. The family of my neighbour Iiro Ikonen.
3. My first time (I was 16, the legal age for driving is 18) behind the wheel, and I tried to make a 3-point turn.
4. "Pätkis" was a TV program showing all sorts of cartoons.
