Tänään mentiin koulun kanssa Laajavuoreen¹ laskemaan Slalomia. Ensin opeteltiin open avustuksella, ja sitten loppuaika laskettiin ihan ylhäältä asti. Me tulimme pois Isän kyydissä vasta viideltä. Kotona tein RC-liidokkiani² taas vähän, kun se oli hajonnut kun sunnuntaina lennätin sitä.

Viiden markan suksien, monojen yms. vuokrakuitti tunnin ajaksi.

Tuesday

Today our school class went to Laajavuori¹ for alpine skiing. First we practiced with a teacher, and the rest of the time we skied all the way from the top. Dad came to pick us up as late as five o'clock. At home I worked on fixing my R/C-glider² further, as I had crashed it on Sunday.

Five mark receipt for renting skis, ski boots, etc. for one hour.

Perjantai

Tänään saatiin matikan kokeet. Sain 10. Iltapäivällä koulun jälkeen lähdettiin taas "Slalomfahren" Laajavuoreen. Oltiin 2 tuntia, eli vuokra oli 2x5 mk meiltä kaikilta (Piukku, Timo, Iiro ja minä). Hissimaksut maksettiin 45 mk:n sarjalipulla (30 matkaa, mutta saimme 32). Ensin opetimme Iiron kanssa Piukun ja Timon laskemaan alatasanteelta kahdella laskulla, ja sitten siirryimme ihan ylös (paitsi Timo, jolla oli epäonnea hississä koko ajan). Piukku laski hienosti, mutta hieman liian kovalla vauhdilla. Seuraavalla laskulla Timokin oli mukana, mutta ei uskaltanut kääntää, ja....

Friday

Today we got the results for a maths exam. I got 10. In the afternoon after school we again went to Laajavuori for "Slalomfahren". We were there for 2 hours, so the rent was 2x5 marks for all of us (Piukku, Timo, Iiro and myself). We paid for the ski lift using a series ticket for 45 marks (30 trips in the ticket, but we got 32). First Iiro and myself taught Piukku and Timo how to alpine ski using the lower platform and two trips, and then went all the way to the top (except Timo, who kept having bad luck using the ski lift). Piukku managed fine, though used a bit too much speed. On the next trip down also Timo managed to go with us, but was too afraid to turn, and ...

2. Olin saanut luokkakaverini Juha Hytösen luona käydessäni häneltä rakennusohjeet ja piirustukset Amigo II -radio-ohjattavaan liidokkiin, jollaisen olin sitten rakentanut.
