Maanantai

Tänään herättiin vasta kymmeneltä. Aamupäivän olimme ulkona, tänään oli kesän ensimmäinen todella lämmin päivä. Iltapäivällä me nauhoitimme Piukun kanssa Duran Durania minun kasetille. Kun Timo ja Iiro tulivat kalasta, me pelasimme lentopalloa. Sitten katsottiin klo. 19:30 - 20:30 TV:stä Hitchcockin filmiä "Kello neljän aikaan". Sitten minä menin taas ulos korjaamaan Timon mopoa. Tulin sisään kello 10:00¹. Sitten katseltiin TV:tä, ja mentiin nukkumaan vähän jälkeen puolenyön.

Monday

This morning we woke up as late as 10am. The morning we spent outside, this was the first really warm day of the summer. In the afternoon Piukku and I recorded some Duran Duran on my cassette. After Timo and Iiro got back from fishing, we played some volleyball. Then from 7:30pm to 8:30pm we watched Hitchcock's "Four O'clock" on the TV. After that I went out again to fix Timo's moped. I came back in at 10:00¹. Then we watched TV, and went to bed a bit after midnight.

Heräsin jo ennen yhdeksää, mutta syömään menin vasta puoli kymmeneltä. Minulla on vasemmassa jalkapohjassani pari haavaa¹, kun kaaduin eilen Timon mopolla. Tänään vaihdettiin mopoon pakoputki. Iiro myi eilen moponsa moottorin 200 mk:lla Roineen Markulle. Iltapäivällä päällystin Rommelia, nyt siitä on jo miltei koko pohja päällystetty. Katsottiin TV:stä Chaplinin elokuva "Sirkus ja sarjan "Hämähäkki viimeinen jakso. Kello 22:15 alkaa Rockradio, ja minä aion vähän äänittää siitä.

Wednesday

Woke up before nine, but I went to breakfast only at half past nine. I have a couple of wounds on my left sole¹, as I fell down yesterday while driving Timo's moped. Today we changed the exhaust pipe of the moped. Yesterday Iiro sold the engine of his moped to Markku Roine for 200 marks. In the afternoon I made some hull plating work for Rommel, now almost all of the bottom has been covered. We watched Chaplin's movie "The Circus and the last episode of "Hämähäkki on the TV. At 10:15pm Rockradio will start, and I plan to record some music from it.

1. Varmaankin tarkoitin kirjoittaa kello 22:00, tai iltakymmeneltä.

1. Oli huono idea vaihtaa mopoon moottoripyörän etujarru, ja sitten testata etujarrua hiekkatiellä, ajaen mopoa puukengät jalassa.

1. It was not one of my better ideas to repair the front brake of the moped using motorcycle parts, and then test the front brake on a dirt road, while riding the moped wearing clogs.
