Tänäänkin oli tyyntä ja aurinkoista. Heti aamulla uitin taas Rommelia. Sitten aloimme Isän kanssa siirtelemään kiviä omassa rannassa pois tieltä. Minun piti pitää pitkät housut ja paita päällä, kun olin eilen saanut liikaa aurinkoa. Ne tietysti kastuivat läpimäriksi.

Leo Saksala¹ teki pikavisiitin meillä purjeveneellään, ja Rinne² tuli Palolaitoksen veneellä lähistölle, ja näytti pojilleen venettä. Illalla yhdeksän maissa lähdimme juksaamaan, ja minä ja Piukku saimme molemmat 3 turskaa, n. 2 kiloisia, ja Pappa sai 2, toinen 3400 g:n painoinen.

Tuesday

Today was yet another calm and sunny day. Early in the morning I again played with the Rommel. Then Dad and myself began moving rocks away from our beach. I had to keep long trousers and a shirt on, as I had gotten too much sun the day before. My clothes of course got soaking wet.

Leo Saksala¹ made a quick visit with his sailing boat, and Rinne² drove nearby with a Fire Brigade boat, and showed the boat to his sons. In the evening at around nine o'clock we went cod jigging, and me and Piukku both got 3 cods, around 2 kg each, and Grandpa got 2, one of them weighing 3400 grams.
