Tänään kun olin iltapäivällä juksaamassa turskia, sain melkoisen turskan.
Mittasimme sen painoksi 5,1 kg. Siinä oli aika vetäminen ylös.

This afternoon as I was cod jigging, I caught quite a cod. We measured it to weigh 5.1 kg.
It was quite a chore to get it out of the water.

Isä toi eilen kotiin Osborne 1
-tietokoneen töistä. Me olemme Iiron kanssa tehneet siihen ohjelmia miltei koko päivän.
Siinä on nyt ohjelma, jossa ammutaan tykillä sota-alusta, joka liikkuu koko ajan edestakaisin.
Kello neljä lähdimme kaupunkiin katsomaan
"Sharky hoitaa homman" -filmiä.
Sen jälkeen minä tein ohjelman valmiiksi ja kirjoitin sen paperille,
ja sitten isä pakkasi sen taas töihin vietäväksi. Illalla tein läksyt
ja sitten katsoimme TV:tä.

Sunday
Yesterday Dad brought home an Osborne 1
computer from work. Iiro and I have been coding programs for it throughout the day.
Now it has a program where you shoot at a warship moving back and forth.
At four o'clock we went to town to see a movie called
Sharky's Machine.
After that I finished coding the program and printed it out, and then
dad packed up the machine to take it back to work. In the evening
I did my homework and then we watched TV.
