Eilen ostettiin 1 mm:n lentokonevaneria 1,4 m², jolla minä päällystän Rommelin. Hinta oli 40 mk.

Tänään Jorma¹ oli ostanut Timolle 3-vaihteisen Solifer-mopon. Me ajelimme sillä pihalla, vaikka satoi lunta(!!). Siitä oli kaasuvaijeri poissa, ja me otimme sen Jaguar-moposta², mutta ei siitä tullut oikein hyvä. Mutta kyllä sillä ajaa voi.

Iiro hajotti moponsa melkein alkutekijöihinsä, sillä hän aikoo maalata sen.

Tuesday

Yesterday we bought a 1.4 m² sheet of 1 mm thick aircraft plywood, for the hull plating of Rommel. It cost 40 marks.

Today Jorma¹ had bought a 3-geared Solifer moped for Timo. We rode it around the yard, even though it was snowing(!!). It was missing an accelerator cable, which we took from a Jaguar-moped², but that did not work out all that well. It was still driveable, though.

Iiro disassembled his moped almost to it's constituent parts, as he plans to paint it.

Maanantai

Jorma oli hankkinut toisen, vm. 74 olevan jalkavaihteisen Solifer-mopon. Siitä puuttuu sylinteri ja mäntä ym. osia. Me vaihdoimme siitä takapyörän Timon mopoon. Keskiviikkona Jorma saa osan puuttuvista osista uudempaan Soliferiin.

Huomenna kello 4 aamulla meidän luokka lähtee luokkaretkelle, ja koska minä en lähde¹, olen tiistain ja keskiviikon pois koulusta.

Monday

Jorma had acquired another Solifer moped, model year 1974 with foot-operated gear shift. It is missing a cylinder, piston, and such parts. We took the rear wheel from it and put it into Timo's moped. Wednesday Jorma is supposed to get some of the missing parts for the newer Solifer.

Tomorrow at 4am our class is going on a school trip, but since I am not going¹, I'll get Tuesday and Wednesday off school.
