Perjantai

Tänään päällystin Rommelin pohjan valmiiksi. Iltapäivällä Timon moposta hajosi runko, ja sitten me otimme rungon siitä pois, ja Jorma vei sen hitsattavaksi.

Tänäänkin oli lämmin päivä, paitsi kello 17-18 ukkosti vähän.

Illalla höyläsin Rommelin nokassa olevia pallukoita, ja tein "terraarion" Styrox-laatikosta. Laitoin siihen sammakon ja muita pieniä ötököitä, joita hain "kakkalätäköstä"¹.

Friday

Today I finished plating the bottom of Rommel. In the afternoon the chassis of Timo's moped broke, so we took it out, and Jorma took it to get it welded.

Today was again a warm day, except between 5pm and 6pm, when there was a small thunderstorm.

I spent the evening sanding the bulges on the bow of Rommel, and made a "terrarium" from a Styrox box. I put a frog and some small bugs I fetched from the "poo puddle"¹ into it.

Sunnuntai

Tänään nousin ylös vasta kymmeneltä. Sitten muotoilin Rommelin nokkapallukan ja peräpeilin valmiiksi. Sitten me isän kanssa kitattiin kaikki kolot täyteen, ja sitten liimattiin Aralditilla nokka ja potkurin akseliholkin reiät kestäviksi. Sitten Äiti ja Isä lähtivät hakemaan Piukkua Koivuniemestä, ja sillävälin minä hioin kitin. Illalla tein siihen potkureita, ja puoli kahdeksalta oli sauna. Illalla katsottiin TV:stä viimeinen "Triffidien kapina" ja Kupla, joka sekin pian loppuu.

Tommi¹ sai eilen silmälasit.

Sunday

Today I got up as late as 10 o'clock. Then I finished shaping the bulbuous bow and stern of Rommel. Then dad and I used putty to fill all the cavities on the hull, and used Araldite to attach the bulbuous bow and the propeller shaft sleeves to the hull. Then Mom and Dad went to pick up Piukku from Koivuniemi, while I sanded the putty. In the evening I worked on the propellers, and then half past seven we had sauna. In the evening we watched the last episode of "The Day of the Triffids" and Soap, which will soon end as well.

Yesterday Tommi¹ got glasses.
