Tiistai
Tämän päivän sää oli hyvin erikoinen kesäsääksi. Satoi nimittäin lunta koko päivän 15 min
jaksoissa, eli 15 min lunta, 15 min aurinkoa, jne. Koska isä oli Hesassa, me 31 menimme
pyörillä 3 km päähän ja sieltä bussilla kaupunkiin. Siellä syötiin pizzat (yht. 61,50 mk).
Sieltä ostettiin minulle 100 mk:lla hienot peiliaurinkolasit. Piukku sai 100 mk:n haalarin.
Minä ostin 1,5 mm teräslangan (2,50) Rommelin peräsimen työntötangoksi. Rommelin 2-4-6 V ja
eteen-taakse -kytkimet sekä peräsinkoneisto ovat jo valmiit. Eilen tein siihen potkuritkin
(halk. 5 cm, 4 lapaa) muovista.

Tuesday
The weather today was rather curious for a summer weather. It snowed the whole day, in 15 min periods.
That is snowing for 15 minutes, then 15 minutes sunshine, and so on. As dad was in Helsinki, the 3 of us1
rode our bikes 3 km to the bus stop, and took a bus to town. There we ate pizzas (61,50 marks total).
I got cool mirrored sunglasses, which cost 100 marks, and Piukku got overalls also costing 100 marks.
I bought a 1.5 mm steel rod (2.50 marks) to use as the rudder pushrod in Rommel. The 2/4/6 volts selector
and front/back selector switches and the rudder mechanism have been finished. Yesterday I even
finished the propellers (5 cm diameter, 4 blades), which I made from plastic.

Keskiviikko
Lunta satoi tänäänkin. Kahdeksi mentiin pyörillä parturiin, jossa minulle laitettiin "pehmennys".
Isä tuli kahdeksan maissa illalla Helsingistä, ja toi suuren seinäkellon mummulta. Minä sain punaisen
sähkökellon, jonka paikalle se laitettiin. TV:stä tuli "Lentävät pienoismallit1" ja
"Plutonium".

Wednesday
It snowed today as well. At 2pm we went to get my hair cut, and I got a "perm".
Dad came at around 8pm from Helsinki, and brought a large wall clock from grandma. It replaced
the red battery-powered red wall clock, which I then got. On the TV there were
"Model aeroplanes1" and "Plutonium".
