Lunta vaan sataa kesäkuussa! Tänään tein Rommelin kantta, mutta en voi vielä kiinnittää sitä, koska runko pitää vielä lakata sisäpuolelta muovilakalla, jota taas ei voi tehdä ennen kuin ilmat lämpenevät, joka ei tapahdu ainakaan viikkoon. Jokamiehen lista¹ tuli tänään. TV:stä katsottiin Galactica. Huomenna lähdetään Helsinkiin Anun rippijuhlille.

Thursday

It keeps on snowing in June! Today I made the decking for Rommel, but I can't attach it yet, as the the inside of the hull still needs to be coated with a plastic lacquer, which can't be done until the weather gets warmer, which won't happen for a week at least. Everyman's List¹ was on the radio today. We watched Battlestar Galactica on the TV. Tomorrow we'll go to Helsinki to celebrate Anu's First Communion.

Perjantai

Tänään lähdettiin iltapäivällä Helsinkiin. Matkalla kuunneltiin minun ja Piukun kasetteja. Herttoniemessä luin TM:n, joka tuli tänään juuri ennen kuin lähdimme. Sitten vain ihmettelimme, ja illalla mentiin nukkumaan¹.

Friday

Today afternoon we drove to Helsinki. During the trip we listened to my and Piukku's cassettes. When in Herttoniemi I read the TM magazine, which had just arrived before we started the trip. Then we just wondered, and in the evening went to bed¹.

1. "Everyman's List" was a hit list show on the radio, hosted by Tapani Ripatti.

1. Tarkoitin varmaankin, että illalla ei tehty mitään erityistä.
