Maanantai

Tänään oli taas lämmintä. Koulussa viimeisellä tunnilla jalkapalloa pelatessa oli hirveän kuuma. Matikan kokeet jaettiin tänään, ja minä sain 10. Kotona löhösin pihalla, ja maalasin vähän Väinämöistä. Illalla pelattiin taas tennistä. Tänään vasta Rynacrom-laite alkoi toimia kunnolla. Äikän kokeet ovat huomenna, joten niihin pitää lukea vähän.

Monday

Yet another warm day. At school during the last period when playing soccer it was terribly hot. We got the maths exam results today, I got a 10¹. At home I relaxed in the yard, and did some painting on Väinämöinen. In the evening we played tennis again. Only today the Rynacrom device began to work properly. Tomorrow we'll have Finnish exam, so I need to study a bit for that.

Tänään olivat viimeiset kokeet. Ne olivat kemian kokeet. Äikän kokeet jaettiin tänään, minä sain 9½. Referaatista sain ysin. Kotona rakensin Väinämöisen sähkökytkennät valmiiksi. Isä ehdotti, että siihen voisi laittaa sementtisen painolastin. Äiti kävi päivällä vaihtamassa kehnon Rynacrom-laitteen uuteen. Me laskimme Piukun kanssa Posetiivarin vesille. Se ui ihan hyvin.

Wednesday

Today were the last exams. They were for chemistry. We got the results for Finnish exams today, I got 9½. For the summary¹ I got nine. At home I finished the electrical connections for Väinämöinen. Dad suggested, that I could use cement as ballast in it. Mother went and got the poorly working Rynacrom device exhanged to a new one. Together with Piukku we launched the Posetiivari toy ship. It swam quite fine.

1. The exam results here use a 4-10 scale, with 4 being failed (F) and 10 being the best (A).

1. We had to write a summary on some text as part of the Finnish exam.
