Yhtäkkiä päätettiin lähteä saareen. Uitiin kumipatjoilla. Illalla alkoi tuulla ja ukkostaa.
Katselimme ikkunasta salamointia.

Sunday
Suddenly decided to go to our island cottage. Swam using swimming mattresses. In the evening a thunderstorm hit.
We spent the time at the windows watching the lightning strikes.

Maanantai
Muurahaiset tekivät yöllä yllätyshyökkäiksen, ja aamulla alkoi metsästys. Uitiin kumipatjoilla.
Isä sai ongella pari pientä ahventa, joille me teimme lätäkön. Purjehdittiin samalla kumiveneellä
Piukun kanssa. Illalla lähdettiin pois saaresta.

Monday
Ants executed a surprise attack during the night, so in the morning we began hunting them.
Swam using swimming mattresses. Dad got a couple of small basses while fishing, and we made
a small pond for them to swim in. Went sailing with Piukku in the same rubber dinghy.
In the evening we went back to mainland.
