Eilen sain Pienoismalli-lehden ilmaisen näytenumeron. Tänään herättiin vasta klo. 10, ja lähdettiin kaupunkiin kahdeksitoista. Siellä kierreltiin katselemassa Piukulle stereoradionauhureita. Piukku ihastui Philips D8310 -merkkiseen laitteeseen. Se maksoi 895 mk.

Minulle ostettiin Electo-Compista Futaba FP 4/4LN -radiolaitteet1. Lähtöhinta oli 1295 mk, mutta me saimme ne 1100:lla mk:lla.

Kuudelta oli luokkamme pikkujoulut. Siellä oli ensin ohjelmaa, ja loppuaika tanssittiin. Isä tuli hakemaan klo 22:30.

Yesterday I got a sample issue of a Pienoismalli miniature model magazine. Today we woke up as late as 10am, and then went to town at noon. There we tried to find a stereo cassette player for Piukku. She liked a Philips D8310 device. It cost 895 marks.

I got a Futaba FP 4/4LN R/C set1 from Electro-Comp. The RSP was 1295 marks, but we got it at 1100 marks.

At six o'clock we had a school class Christmas party. First there were some performances, and the rest of the time was spent dancing. Dad came to pick me up at 10:30pm.

Tänään lähdettiin Laajavuoreen1 syömään kahdeksitoista. Syönnin jälkeen me pelasimme TV-peliä2, ja sitten veimme Piukun Pyhäkoulun pikkujouluihin kahdeksi. Iltapäivällä minä luin biologian kokeisiin.

Today we went to Laajavuori1 for lunch at noon. After lunch we played TV games2, and then took Piukku to a Sunday School Christmas party at 2pm. In the afternoon I studied for a biology exam.

  1. Laadukas radio-ohjauslaite, kaikki neljä alkuperäistä servoa toimivat vieläkin! Tein Youtube-videon muutama vuosi sitten siitä, kun testasin servoja Raspberry Pi -laitteen kanssa.
  1. A quality R/C control set, all four original servos still work fine! I made a Youtube-video a few years back about me testing the servos using a Raspberry Pi.
  1. Laajavuoren hotelli oli tuolloin Rantasipi Laajavuori, ja isä oli edelleen töissä Rantasipi Oy:ssä.
  2. Hotellin aulassa oli Pac-Man -tyylisiä kolikkovideopelejä, joita pelasimme.
  1. Hotel Laajavuori was at that time Rantasipi Laajavuori, and my dad still worked for Rantasipi.
  2. There were several Pac-Man -style arcade machines in the hotel lobby, which we liked to play.
