Timo1 tuli USA:sta tänä aamuna n. klo. 7. Timppa ja Iiro tulivat katsomaan minun huonetta, jossa parvi oli jo valmis. Sitten me lennätettiin Avengeria2, Rufea3 ja Storchia4. Rufe lensi parhaiten. Sitten me yritettiin taas käynnistää moottori, mutta ei se lähtenyt käymään. Iltapäivällä tosin sain sen käymään, kun irroitin äänenvaimentimen. Illalla Timo ja Iiro lähtivät kalaan.

Timo1 came from USA this morning at around 7am. Timppa2 and Iiro came to see my room, where the sleeping platform was already finished. Then we flew Avenger3, Rufe4 and Storch5. Rufe flew the best. Then we tried to start up my model engine again, but it did not start. In the afternoon I managed to have it start, though, after I removed the noise dampener. In the evening Timo and Iiro went fishing.

Aamulla korjattiin katkennut airo, ja lopun päivää Timo ja Iiro olivat kalassa. Ajoin moottorin "sisään" tänään, mutta jouduin keskeyttämään, kun alkoi sataa. Isä on rakentanut vintille luukun yläkerrasta.

In the morning we fixed an oar that had broken, and then Timo and Iiro went fishing for the rest of the day. I managed to get the model engine broken in today, though I had to cut this short as it started raining. Dad has built a hatch to access the attic from the second floor.

  1. Timo Masalin oli pari vuotta nuorempi naapurini. Nykyään asuu USA:ssa.
  2. Rakennussarjasta rakentamani Guillows TBF Avenger kuminauhakäyttöinen balsalennokki.
  3. Rakennussarjasta rakentamani Guillows Nakajima Rufe kuminauhakäyttöinen balsalennokki. Näitä rakennussarjoja myydään edelleen!
  4. Piirustusten pohjalta balsasta rakentamani Fieseler Storch kuminauhakäyttöinen lennokki.
  1. Timo Masalin, my neighbor, a couple of years younger than me. Nowadays lives in the USA.
  2. Timppa was Timo's nickname.
  3. A Guillows TBF Avenger rubber-powered balsa model kit I had built.
  4. A Guillows Nakajima Rufe rubber-powered balsa model kit I had built. These kits are still available today!
  5. A rubber-powered balsa model of Fieseler Storch I had built based on plans.
