Aamulla luin Valittuja Paloja, ja sitten soitin Hobby Marketiin. Sitten me lähdimme sen varastolle, ja ostimme sieltä kannen, potkurin, tulppa-avaimen, ja Lennokki-lehden (yht. 55 markkaa). SItten me söimme. ja lähdimme ajamaan kotia kohti. Kotona luin englanninkokeeseen. Tänään sain Pikku-mummulta 100 mk, ja Ikäheimosilta 50 mk. Ilmoitin kaikille toivovani joululahjaksi radio-ohjauslaitteita. Minulla on nyt 655 mk rahaa.

In the morning I read some Reader's Digest, and then I phoned Hobby Market. Then we went to their warehouse, and bought a cylinder head, propeller, glow plug wrench, and a model aircraft magazine (55 marks in total). Then we ate, and started our drive back home. At home I studied for the English exam. Today I got 100 marks from Small-granny, and 50 mk from the Ikäheimonen family. I let everyone know I wished to get a radio control system as a Christmas present. I now have 655 marks worth of money.

Eilen, torstaina, me menimme Isän kanssa elokuviin katsomaan "Operaatio Outlandia". Se ei ollut erityisen hyvä, ei saanut edes nauraa kertaakaan.

Tänään me saimme matikan kokeet. Minä sain 9-, niinkuin Iirokin. Sakari sai 10- ja Vesa L. 8+. Meillä oli uintia tänään, ja kotiin tullessani minulla oli kurkku kipeä.

Viime lauantaina (7.11.) aloitin "Rommelin" pienoismallin rakentamisen. Siitä tulisi 134 cm pitkä ja 14 cm leveä, siis 1:100. Piirsin¹ silloin jo piirustukset valmiiksi. Nyt on sen runkokaaret jo paikoillaan. Myös moottori on kiinnitetty. Siitä tulee radio-ohjattava.

Yesterday, on Thursday, Dada and I went to the movies to watch "Outland". It wasn't very good, not even a single laugh in the movie.

Today we got the results of the maths exam. I got 9-, same as Iiro. Sakari got 10- and Vesa L. 8+. We went swimming today, and when I got home I had a sore throat.

Last Saturday (Nov 7th) I started building a scale model of "Rommel". It would be 134 cm long and 14 cm wide, so 1:100 scale. I drew¹ the plans back then. Now all the bulkheads are already attached. Also the engine is in place. It will be radio-controlled.

1. Mittailin vanhaa 1:600 Airfix pienoismalliani laivasta, ja piirsin itse kaarikuvat laivaan, käyttäen apuna myös mallin ohjeiden värityskaaviota.

1. I measured my 1:600 Airfix plastic model of the ship, and drew the bulkhead plans myself, using also the included model coloring schematics.
