Tänään tein Avengerin siiven, ja kiinnitin sen runkoon. Tein myös ohjauskolmion¹ ja kannuspyörän. Enää puuttuu laskuteline ja työntötanko². Iltapäivällä kuunneltiin radiosta "Knalli ja sateenvarjo", ja nauroimme kauheasti. Isä lähti Helsinkiin iltapäivällä.

Sunday

Today I made the wing for Avenger, and attached it to the fuselage. I also made the steering triangle¹ and tail wheel. Only the main landing gear and pushrod² are missing. In the afternoon we listened to a Finnish version of "The Men from the Ministry" on the radio, and laughed a lot. Dad left for Helsinki in the afternoon.

Maanantai

Kotona piti lukea läksyjä, eikä paljon muuta sitten ehtinytkään. Kävin Timpalla ja Iirolla. Isä tuli Helsingistä, ja toi kaiken maailman kasveja¹. Meidän piti lähteä tänään elokuviin, mutta ei me sitten mentykään. Illalla katsottiin TV:stä "Elvis Havaijilla".

Monday

At home I had to do my homework, and that took most of the afternoon. I visited Timo and Iiro. Dad came from Helsinki, and brought all sorts of flowers¹. We were supposed to go to the movies today, but we didn't. In the evening we watched "Paradise, Hawaiian Style" on the TV.
